Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to join a business-critical software development programme within a secure and highly regulated environment.

The successful candidate will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including backend development, frontend engineering, workflow automation, enterprise integrations, database design and test automation. The role requires close collaboration with technical experts, business stakeholders and cross-functional Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring technologies
• Build secure backend services and business-critical APIs
• Design and implement modern Angular frontend applications
• Develop and optimize PostgreSQL database solutions
• Configure and implement workflow and process automation solutions
• Develop and maintain XML and SOAP-based integrations
• Design and support WSDL and XSD service contracts
• Build and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum teams
• Contribute to CI/CD and software quality initiatives
• Create and maintain technical documentation in German
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects and developers
• Support delivery within a security-sensitive environment
