Senior Java Software Engineer with.NET /.NET Core

ph3Project description /h3 pOur client is a large international enterprise developing and evolving a core solution that supports critical business processes used across multiple teams. The project focuses on the continuous development and maintenance of a central platform, with an emphasis on code quality, scalability, and long-term maintainability. The solution is built using modern software engineering practices and technologies.

The role involves working as part of a cross‑functional Scrum team, collaborating closely with other software developers, UX analysts, and senior engineers to implement new functionality, improve existing components, and ensure stable operation of the platform. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liWork together with other Scrum team members on a project of the client's Core solution /li liParticipate in Scrum planning sessions by analyzing the work to be done /li liImplement new functionality or code refactors based on detailed specifications and mock‑ups /li liClosely work together with other development team members and a UX analyst /li liDiscuss technical design with senior team members when needed /li liParticipate in writing unit tests for newly developed functionality /li liParticipate in performing code reviews /li liReport work progress on a daily basis /li liFocus on bug fixing when needed /li liRegular business trips to Belgium for 1 week every 2 months /li /ul h3SKILLS /h3 h3Must have /h3 ul liMinimum 3 years of professional experience with Java and Minimum 3 years of professional experience with .NET / .NET Core (6 years in total as minimum). Solid experience with Spring / Spring Boot. Strong knowledge of ORM frameworks such as nHibernate (or similar).

Experience designing and building RESTful APIs. Good understanding of backend architecture, performance, and security. Strong experience working with relational databases. PostgreSQL knowledge or experience with database performance optimizations is an advantage. Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing.
