The role requires deep technical expertise, strong mathematical or statistical understanding, and the ability to work effectively in cloud‑native, containerized environments. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and maintain high‑quality Python applications and services. /li liContribute to the architecture and implementation of scalable, cloud‑based solutions. /li liWork with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. /li liCollaborate with cross‑functional teams including quant/risk analysts, DevOps, and business stakeholders. /li liParticipate in requirements analysis, technical design, code reviews, and production support. /li liApply analytical and statistical methods to solve complex business problems where required. /li liEnsure adherence to best practices in software engineering, security, and performance. /li /ul h3Must have /h3 ul li8+ years of hands‑on development experience with Python. /li liStrong experience working in Linux environments. /li liPractical experience with Docker and Kubernetes. /li liExperience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent). /li liParticipation in at least one banking project, preferably within market risk or a related risk domain. /li liSolid background in mathematics and/or statistics. /li liProven proficiency in programming analytics using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy (or equivalents). /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience with financial risk models or financial data processing. /li liFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. /li liExperience working in regulated environments. /li liStrong communication skills and ability to mentor junior developers. /li /ul /p
