Senior Python Developer

ph3Project description /h3 pWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Python Developer to strengthen our engineering capabilities and support the development and maintenance of complex, business‑critical systems in the banking domain, with a strong preference for experience in market risk or related risk analytics areas. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong mathematical or statistical understanding, and the ability to work effectively in cloud‑native, containerized environments. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and maintain high‑quality Python applications and services. /li liContribute to the architecture and implementation of scalable, cloud‑based solutions. /li liWork with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. /li liCollaborate with cross‑functional teams including quant/risk analysts, DevOps, and business stakeholders. /li liParticipate in requirements analysis, technical design, code reviews, and production support. /li liApply analytical and statistical methods to solve complex business problems where required. /li liEnsure adherence to best practices in software engineering, security, and performance. /li /ul h3Must have /h3 ul li8+ years of hands‑on development experience with Python. /li liStrong experience working in Linux environments. /li liPractical experience with Docker and Kubernetes. /li liExperience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent). /li liParticipation in at least one banking project, preferably within market risk or a related risk domain. /li liSolid background in mathematics and/or statistics. /li liProven proficiency in programming analytics using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy (or equivalents). /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience with financial risk models or financial data processing. /li liFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. /li liExperience working in regulated environments. /li liStrong communication skills and ability to mentor junior developers. /li /ul /p
