# Lead .NET Software Engineer

## About the Role

ERNI is looking for a Lead .NET Software Engineer to take technical responsibility for the architecture, design, and hands-on implementation of modern software solutions in the .NET ecosystem. You will work closely with customers and interdisciplinary teams to develop scalable, secure, and high-quality applications.

The role combines hands-on software development with technical leadership. You will contribute to architecture decisions, backend services, cross-platform applications, software quality, security, technical presales, and the continuous improvement of technical solutions.

## Key Responsibilities

* Take technical responsibility for the architecture, design, and implementation of modern software solutions within the .NET environment.

* Develop backend services using .NET Core and cross-platform applications within the .NET ecosystem, including technologies such as .NET MAUI.

* Design and implement database solutions using technologies such as Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and SQLite.

* Ensure software quality, security, authentication, encryption, and Clean Code standards through code reviews and development best practices.

* Provide technical leadership within projects without direct disciplinary management responsibilities.

* Collaborate closely with customers and interdisciplinary project teams.

* Support technical presales activities and contribute to the development of technical solutions.

## Required Qualifications

* Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field from an ETH, university of applied sciences (FH), university, or higher technical school (HF).

* Several years of software development experience with a focus on C# and .NET, including .NET Core / .NET 10.

* Experience in a Senior or Technical Lead role with a focus on software architecture and hands-on development.

* Strong knowledge of .NET Core and experience developing cross-platform applications within the .NET ecosystem.

* Experience with modern data access technologies such as Entity Framework Core.

* Experience with relational database systems such as SQL Server and SQLite.

* Experience with secure authentication and security concepts.

* Strong working knowledge of Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.

* Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

* Very good written and spoken German and English.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with .NET MAUI.

* Experience with Microsoft Azure, such as Azure Portal and Virtual Machines.

* Experience with Telerik.

Education

* Experience with .NET Core, cross-platform .NET applications, databases, security concepts, and modern data access technologies.

## Work Arrangement & Schedule

* Flexible working hours.

* Remote work is available for up to 5 weeks per year outside Switzerland, but within Europe.
