Andrew Zehr

I am a masters student in Statistics at ETH Zürich in Switzerland. I am currently working on my masters thesis on the topic of applying machine learning to high-dimensional time series data in collaboration with the Swiss Data Science Center. I will graduate in September and wish to remain in Europe to work. I am a native English speaker and currently speak B2 German, but am continuously improving my skills.

I have worked as a Teaching Assistant for the “Analysis of Variance” statistics course at ETH Zurich, teaching other masters students. I was an Data Analytics Intern at Ford Motor Company where I created an automated data pipeline to annalyze and summarize the accuracy of vehicle depreciation forecasts. I was a student Research Assistant at Purdue University where I quantitatively researched the economic and social impact of natural disasters.

I received a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics/Statistics from Purdue University in 2017. I also minored in Economics and English. I am a masters student in Statistics at ETH Zurich and will graduate this year (2023).
