Catalina Díaz

My name is Catalina Díaz. I am currently working as a research associate at ISPM in the Community Health and Health Care Systems group under the direction of Dr. Frahsa. I am contacting you regarding the postdoctoral position in mitochondrial biogenesis in parasitic protozoa.

I have a PhD in molecular biology and biomedicine from the University of Cantabria (Spain) (cum laude awarded). My doctoral thesis focused on the characterization of Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains in patients with cystic fibrosis. I have a strong background in molecular biology techniques, as well as cell biology (mainly A549 cell line).

I am very committed to my work, responsible, organized, and efficient. I have a good command of computers, knowing all the Office package, as well as bioinformatics software. I have a very good command of English, I have a C1 level accredited by Cambridge.
