Fashion Designer & Pattern Maker | Product Development | Based in Switzerland

I am Claudia Traja, a Fashion Designer and Pattern Maker with a hybrid profile combining creative design and technical product development. With nearly three years of experience across Italy and Switzerland, I specialize in structured garments, material research, and construction precision, with a strong passion for function-driven and contemporary design.

Currently, I work in Product Development and Production Management at Hugo Boss in Mendrisio (Ticino), where I support the Bodywear, Swimwear, Nightwear, and Loungewear teams from design through to production. This includes supplier management, packaging development, and close collaboration with quality control and visual merchandising teams.

My core strengths lie in fashion design, pattern making, and product development where I can bridge creativity and technical expertise. I am fluent in Italian and English, have a good understanding of Spanish, and I am highly motivated to learn German. I hold Swiss residency and am open to relocation or travel for the right opportunity.

With a Master's degree in Women’s Pattern Making from Istituto Carlo Secoli and strong digital skills including Adobe Suite, CLO3D, Lectra Modaris, Optitex, AutoCAD, PLM and Excel, I am fully prepared to contribute across all stages of the design and development process.

I am currently looking for new opportunities in the Swiss fashion, sportswear, or apparel innovation sectors.
