I am a resourceful and creative professional with an MA in Hospitality Business Management. With hands-on experience in hospitality, tourism, and conference management, I possess excellent communication skills (bi-lingual English and Persian/Farsi) and a talent for operational efficiency. I'm excited to share my diverse work background in the hospitality and event management industries with you! I have been a barista, a waitress, and an intern focused on career affairs and event planning. As a Lead Barista, I have trained and mentored staff to achieve high standards in coffee brewing techniques and customer service.
I've also excelled at managing reservations and seating arrangements, providing timely and courteous service, and building relationships with guests as a Waitress and Hostess.
School, I honed my event planning skills by organizing major events like Hearts behind the Masks, La face Cachee, and International Women's Day. In addition, I have facilitated workshops and seminars, such as the international food service workshop, and have contributed to large-scale conferences and festivals, including The First National Festival of the Museum and Cultural Heritage, Iran and the China Incoming Tourism Conference, Iran. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management from Shiraz University and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in International Hospitality Business Management with a specialization in Events Management from Swiss Hotel Management School. I have completed several certifications, including WSET level 2, Champagne Perrier-Jouet masterclass, cocktails and mixology masterclass, coffee brewing course, barista course, and food service workshop. I have also gained valuable experience through two major projects, including the development of a restaurant concept and organizing a charity event, as well as through extracurricular activities as a Fire Marshall, Student Advisor, and Class Representative.
