I define myself as an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in sustainable environmentally sound urban planning, climate change-related policies, risk mitigation strategies & humanitarian responses.
My responsibilities covered different posts as a consultant on the advisory committee: “Crisis, Disaster Management and Disaster Risk Reduction”, Egypt’s Cabinet Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC), Consultant at the Egyptian National Committee for Climate Change, Senior Adviser of the Arab Forum for Environment & Development (AFED), Beirut, Lebanon, Field Coordinator of the International Activities of INTA, Paris – France and Professor of Urban Planning at the Housing and Building National Research Centre (HBRC) in Cairo, Egypt.
I am also an accomplished bilingual communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability for finding common appropriate action at all levels of governments, IGO, UN, private sectors, policy institution, and NGOs /stakeholder relations, as well as financing, granting and motivating management teams to consistently achieve and regularly surpassing demanding performance, quality and business goals.
I am proactive, flexible, results-driven and looking for a challenging yet rewarding position for Monitoring Manager MENA and Africa IDMC which is why I was naturally drawn to your exciting opportunity.
