As a 3D artist, I've had quite the adventure navigating the labyrinth of digital artistry. I've breathed life into virtual worlds, turned polygons into fantastic creatures, and created immersive experiences that captivate the imagination. My journey has been as thrilling as riding a rollercoaster through a 3D dreamscape!
As a dedicated 3D modeler and sculptor, I have gained valuable experience working with a variety of software, such as ZBrush, Blender, and Maya. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with reputable companies like Playrix, Stonerix, and Arvi VR. My expertise includes creating detailed 3D models, retopology, UV mapping, and texturing for diverse projects like video games, animations, and product designs.
Working with these companies has allowed me to collaborate with different teams and adapt to various project requirements, showcasing my versatility and passion for the field. I am proud of my ability to bring clients' ideas to life by creating captivating and high-quality 3D models that exceed their expectations.
Most recently, I participated in the XYZ courses, specifically the comprehensive STYL program, which provided an extensive exploration into the full pipeline of creating stylized characters. Although these were not the only courses I have taken, they were the latest and most impactful in honing my skills.
The STYL course encompassed every stage of the character creation process, starting with the development of initial silhouettes and concepts. We delved into anatomy, gesture, and proportion, ensuring our characters were visually striking and well-balanced.
Moving forward, we sculpted high-poly models in ZBrush, focusing on capturing the essence of our character designs while paying close attention to detail. Once satisfied with our sculpts, we transitioned to Maya for retopology and UV mapping, optimizing our models for efficient texturing and rendering.
The texturing process took place in Substance Painter, where we learned to create visually compelling and consistent textures, making our characters truly come to life. We explored various techniques and workflows to achieve the desired look for our stylized characters.
Finally, we rendered our completed models in Marmoset and Keyshot, fine-tuning lighting and materials to create stunning presentations that showcased our characters in the best possible light. The XYZ STYL course provided me with invaluable hands-on experience and a strong foundation in stylized character creation, enabling me to tackle a wide range of projects with confidence and skill.
