Michael Wicksteed

I am an experienced teacher of English at a secondary school in Geneva. I have also taught French and P.E in the past. I am currently teaching one class of 12 year olds (CEFR level B1-B2), two classes iGCSE Language and Literature and diploma class (English Language B).

I qualified as a teacher (PGCE) in 1990 and have been a classroom teacher in a wide range of schools and learning centres in the UK and abroad, often with children and adolescents from underprivileged backgrounds. I have particularly enjoyed working with the 11 to 15 age group over the last years and I consider myself to be a caring and imaginative teacher.
