Sandra Frey

I am a master's student in Life Science Engineering at EPFL, where I also completed my bachelor's degree. I have practical lab experience and my goal is to transition into medical research after graduation.

I have gained diverse experience through various roles, including a planned wet lab experimentation and data analysis position at the Tang Laboratory EPFL, a medical internship at Bungoma County Referral Hospital in Kenya, and nursing internships at Limmattal Hospital and the Children's Hospital Zurich. Additionally, I have worked in temporary staff positions at Tempstaff AG and Confiserie Sprüngli.

I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Life Science Engineering at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, where I also completed my Bachelor’s degree. My studies included a Swiss Mobility program at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Scheduled for early 2025, I will conduct my Master’s thesis at the Neuroregeneration Institute, Harvard Medical School (McLean Hospital Boston).

I completed my secondary education at Literargymnasium Rämibühl in Zurich, with a bilingual Matura and IB degree, and spent an exchange year at Verde Valley High School in Arizona, USA.
