Yannick Michel

I am an Interactive media designer with 15 years of experience. I have skills in UI/UX Design but I'm specialized in Video editing and more specifically in motion design. I have mainly worked for the entertainment and Media Industry. I'm relatable, a problem solver and I can adapt easily in a new organization. I have a good knowledge and a good network in the Swiss french newsrooms.

I started my career as a webdesigner, but shift to motion design and video editing in 2014.

I've worked for HollyStar as a graphic and webdesigner. Then I worked for a communication agency in Biel, Chok Design, as a motion designer, video editor and I did some front-end development on Wordpress. The last 7 years I worked in the Media industry as an infographic and motion designer for TX Group, former Tamedia. There I've done some infographics for the newspaper and explainers videos for the news websites. I've learned to research a subject, write scripts and record my voiceover.

I have an Highschool degree, maturité fédérale. I have a Interactive media designer CFC that I've completed at Eikon in Fribourg, former émaf. During my employment, I took courses on UX Design at Sawi and I did an introduction to datajournalism at CFJM in Lausanne.
