Raisa Kozar

I am a 34-year-old female native English speaker from Toronto, Canada and I currently live in Santiago, Chile. I have over five years’ experience teaching children from ages 3 – 12 in a classroom and private setting, both in Beijing, China and Hong Kong. I also have three years’ experience teaching children ages 3 – 12 in an online classroom setting.

I am currently in the fourth year of my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, which I am completing through Thompson Rivers University located in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. I have earned a college certificate in Human Services Foundations and I have obtained my 140-hour TEFL certificate. I am a highly compassionate and approachable teaching professional who has had the opportunity to instruct and work with a wide variety of students from various backgrounds and from all facets of society.

As a result, I am a compassionate teacher, who is sensitive to each students’ unique needs. I also provide positive encouragement and reinforcement in order to keep students focused and motivated. I teach students from kindergarten to middle school.
