Job Description

The Android Framework Development Engineer is to involve developing, optimizing, and maintaining the Android framework to ensure seamless performance, compatibility, and security across various devices, contribute to feature enhancements, and solve complex technical challenges, driving the evolution of Android-based products.

Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain the Android framework components, including system services, resource management, and inter - process communication mechanisms. Ensure the stability and performance of these components to support smooth operation of upper - level applications.

•Port and adapt the Android framework to new hardware platforms and different device configurations. Resolve compatibility issues and optimize performance to meet the specific requirements of various products.

•Participate in the development of new Android features and functionality. Analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement changes at the framework level, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

•Debug and troubleshoot complex framework - related issues, such as system crashes, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks. Use advanced debugging tools and techniques to identify root causes and implement effective fixes.

Skills Required

•2+ years of experience in Android framework development.

•Have an in - depth understanding of the Android framework architecture, including the Android runtime, Linux kernel interaction, and system service mechanisms.

•Be proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages, with strong object - oriented programming skills. Have experience in C/C++ programming for working on native Android framework components.
