Application Engineering Manager – Energy Storage Solutions

What We Expect

This is a full-time remote role for an Application Engineering Manager specializing in Energy Storage Solutions. The Application Engineering Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Oversee the review of RFx, tender documents, and technical proposal packages from Customers.
• Lead coordination with internal and external stakeholders during system sizing, simulation, and proposal preparations.
• Provide strategic technical support throughout the development phase of projects until commissioning, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Manage a team of Application Engineers and mentor them in technical and professional development.
• Participate in 60% travel, both Domestic and International, based on project needs to visit Customers, sites, events, and Partners.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Power Conditioning Systems (PCS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and grid integration.
• Proven experience with PCS is essential.
• Strong understanding of simulations for BESS and hybrid systems for sizing and performance.
• Familiarity with concepts of PV plants and Wind plants, as well as their integration with BESS, is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver quality outputs with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated and energetic individual with a strong team spirit and customer-centric attitude.
• Proficiency in English as a working language is a mandatory requirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Power Systems or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• 4-6 years of experience in a related industry or role, with managerial experience preferred.
