应用开发工程师/Application Programming Engineer

该职位来源于猎聘 Responsibility:  Develop applications for authoring systems to enhance efficiency and effective-ness for designers working (i.e. M-CAD and E-CAD, apps, scripts,…)  Integrate authoring software into PLM Backbone.  Provides 2nd level support and documentation for the solutions in scope and trains respective key users.  Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to authoring software, PLM systems, and internal CAD systems.

Tasks:  Develop applications for authoring systems to enhance efficiency and effective-ness for designers working (i.e. M-CAD and E-CAD, apps, scripts,…)  Development/Deployment of software using DevOps principals  Integrate authoring software into PLM Backbone.  Development of Test (Unit-Tests, Integration-Tests, Component-Tests …)  Elaborate HW/SW requirements for Laptops and PC´s to smoothly operate our CAD systems  CAD Performance testing in case of changes by i.e. operating system change, new drivers, …  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development, IT, and design departments to ensure successful implementation of authoring software systems and applications and to provide technical support  Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for more efficient and effective use of authoring soft-ware.

Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.  Strong background in software development and engineering.  Experience in developing and implementing authoring software applications and systems in a PLM environment.  Good knowledge in state-of-the-art software development i.e. DevOps  Solid understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems, authoring software, and internal CAD systems such as NX and CATIA.  Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python 3, VBA, VB.net or similar.  General knowledge of design engineering methods

 Strong analytic and problem-solving skills  Excellent communication and collaboration skills.  Ability to work independently and in a team environment.  Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
