Bioinformatics Programmer （医药研发生信）

该职位来源于猎聘 Summary The Bioinformatics Programmer will provide timely bioinformatics support and contribute to decision making in drug projects. The applicant could be proficient in standard bioinfo skills and have some biological knowledge. A reliable, detail-oriented personality would be desired. This position will focus on more "traditional" bioinformatics (as listed in JD), in order to provide timely support to project decision making. AI/ML or other new technologies will not be the focus.

Job Responsibilities

Provide analyses of high-throughput/NGS data, such as RNA-seq, genomics, proteomics, biomarkers, CRISPR screen data etc. Provide analyses of genetic association, expression, pathway and network. Find and integrate data from external (e.g., GEO, TCGA, DepMap) and internal sources (including clinical biomarker data and real-world data) to address biological questions.

Provide analyses of literature and competitor information. Contribute to initiation/implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of analysis workflow. Collaborate with the Bioinformatics team and the project managers to define analytical tools and analysis requirements.

Requirements PhD's degree (or Master’s degree with at least 1-year working experience) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field. Strong experience with bioinformatics data analysis (omics, pathway, biomarker etc).

Experience with drug project support is preferred. Proficient programming skills in R/Python and experience with Unix/Linux environment are required. Knowledge in Immunology or Oncology is desired; being able to communicate comfortably with biologists. Team player with good communication skills. Fluent in English speaking and writing.
