Why this role

Overseas trading moves on signal quality: the team needs to know what changed, why it changed, and what to do next. This role owns the analysis layer that turns daily trading activity, product behavior, and campaign results into decisions, with a focus on overseas customers and the market makers and institutions behind spot volume. You'll build the metric framework, keep core reporting reliable, and go deeper when standard analysis can't explain a shift.

In 12 to 24 months, business reviews are sharper, decisions come faster, and analysis is repeatable across product, operations, and marketing.

What you'll do

• Own daily reporting and deep-dive analysis for spot trading, with clear definitions for every metric the business relies on
• Build and refine the analysis framework as business stages, product questions, and growth priorities change
• Use SQL and BI tools to extract, validate, and interpret data, then turn findings into clear recommendations
• Spot shifts in user behavior, funnel leaks, and market maker or institutional flow before they become repeat problems
• Create new analysis methods when existing dashboards cannot answer the question accurately
• Work with product, operations, marketing, and overseas teams in English and Chinese to move analysis into decisions and measurable gains

What you'll bring

Non-negotiables

• Has analyzed spot trading or similarly complex financial or crypto businesses, and knows how market makers and institutional clients trade
• Defines metrics from the business process itself and builds the framework when the question is ambiguous, not only pulls numbers from existing dashboards
• Is strong in SQL and data validation, and explains the logic clearly to non-data teams
• Is bilingual in Chinese and English, with fully barrier-free English for daily work

Bonus

• Has worked at a crypto exchange, fintech, or large-scale internet platform
• Has used AI tools to speed up analysis planning, insight generation, or report drafting
