Data Application Support Engineer

• Monitor and support batch data pipelines (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue)
• Investigate and resolve job failures, data delays, and data quality issues
• Perform data validation and reconciliation using SQL (Redshift / Snowflake)
• Support Power BI reports from a data perspective (refresh/data issues)
• Act as single point of contact for business users; provide incident updates
• Escalate infra issues to central teams when required
• Own daily service health checks and basic operational reporting.
• Triage and prioritize incidents based on business impact.
• Communicate incidents, root causes, and resolution timelines to users.

  Skills

• Strong SQL (AWS Redshift, Snowflake – investigation)
• Hands on experience with AWS Glue and Azure Data Factory operations
• Experience supporting production data pipelines (batch processing)
• Good understanding of ETL logic and data quality troubleshooting
• Comfortable working independently with business users
• Mandarin and English proficiency preferred Out of Scope
