Data Engineer

• Design and implement scalable and robust data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources
• Develop and maintain data warehouse and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data integration and transformation
• Optimize and tune the performance of data systems to ensure efficient data processing and analysis
• Collaborate with product managers and analysts to understand data requirements and implement solutions for data modeling and analysis
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Implement and maintain data governance and security measures to protect sensitive data Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related majors
• Relevant work experience in Data Design or Data Engineering
• Proficient in the basic concepts of database SQL and able to write SQL queries fluently
• Experience in database data migration
• Familiar with using ETL tools, and capable of writing ETL queries and configuring field mappings
• Some experience in data visualization/presentation
• Able to use English fluently for work communication, including speaking and email
• Proactive at work and able to drive collaboration among relevant team members Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Cloud Technologies e.g. AWS, Azure, Cloud Storage such as S3 /Blob
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex data challenges
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is an added advantage
