Database Administrator

工作职责 The incumbent is responsible for design and implementation of the database projects in several locations. He / She is also responsible for database security protocols, data protection and damage control for cloud computing project including: Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall design and implementation of the database for the system with application and data migration support for Cloud projects;
• Support for application and data migration of existing applications to the systems;
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data against loss or corruption;
• Implement and maintain database security protocols to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access or breaches;
• Ensure databases comply with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards;
• Facilitate database design and administration of IBM DB2, My SQL, MariaDB or Oracle Database;
• Design and implementation of high-availability database clusters on cloud or virtualization infrastructure projects.

任职要求

1.

Higher

Diploma or above in computer science, Information Technology or a related field;

• A minimum of 5 years in database administration, design, support or related experience;
• Familiar with database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB SQL Server etc.;
• Knowledge of cloud-based database services like AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database;
• Familiar with scripting languages like SQL, Python, or PowerShell;

Experience in system programming and administration on Linux or Windows Platform;

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
