Main Duties

• Confirming availability of medical service, aid, and fire equipment in good condition;
• Establishing project EHS plan, security plan, housing plan as well as project risk analysis;
• Establishing a project - specific evacuation plan, reviewed periodically (at least quarterly) for all phases of construction;
• Monitoring safety and environmental program compliance through regular inspections, identification, and documentation of unsafe conditions and remedial action;
• Reviewing the safety program requirements of Subcontractors and monitoring their program implementation;
• Ensure and possibly conduct site induction training to subcontractor’s new workers;
• Conducting regular jobsite safety inspections by using checklists to evaluate safety program implementation;
• Making recommendations to correct hazardous conditions or helping prevent hazardous situations from occurring;
• Investigating all accidents, including safety and environmental incidents, and preparing incident reports;
• Maintaining all required safety and environmental related records;
• Ensuring that all Safety, Health or Environmental Alerts that are published by the company are discussed with all employees and prominently posted in view of all employees;
• Hold weekly/monthly EHS meeting or joint safety inspection with all concerned parties involved;
• Lead the EHS team assigned to the project, provide guidance and lead;
• Ensure the suitable, sufficient and effective EHS team is assigned to the project and communicate to the Project Manager and EHS Corporate Manager accordingly;
• Responsible for the EHS performance of the job site towards the Project Management;
• Participating in project Risk Assessment. Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in construction & engineering company;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in on-site hook up safety work & team management experience;
• Good understanding of engineering construction etc;
• Familiar with regulations and laws in regards to work safety, procedures of construction, accident reporting and approval process for construction projects;
• Good communication skills;
• Possess a positive & customer focused attitude and able to work under pressure;
• Proven skills and ability to effectively coordinate work assignment at all level within the company and with outside services and organizations;
• Self-motivated with energy and drive to deliver effective outcomes;
• Will to travel to domestic project sites.
