Responsibilities 1）Risk Management &
- Lead comprehensive risk identification activities, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification, and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) for semiconductor processes.
- Oversee the Permit to Work (PTW) system, ensuring strict adherence to approval protocols for high-risk activities such as hot work, confined space entry, and work at height.
- Manage the Management of Change (MOC) process to evaluate EHS impacts regarding process, equipment, or personnel changes.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, tracking corrective actions to closure.
- Incident Investigation &
- Compliance – 25%
Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis methodologies to determine root causes.
Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure site compliance with local safety regulations and corporate EHS standards.
Analyze safety data and trends to provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Team Leadership &
- Development –35%
Manage the daily operations of the safety team, including task assignment, workflow prioritization, and resource allocation.
Formulate annual and quarterly work plans, defining clear goals for team members.
Conduct performance appraisals and provide continuous coaching and mentorship to develop team capabilities.
Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages professional growth and technical proficiency.
- Training &
- Communication – 15%
Develop and deliver advanced EHS training programs tailored to semiconductor manufacturing hazards.
Coordinate cross-functional communication with Engineering, Production, and HR to integrate safety into all business processes.
Serve as a primary EHS advisor to department managers, guiding them on safety obligations and best practices.
Education &
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Certification: Must possess a valid China Certified Safety Engineer license.
Experience: o Minimum of 10 years of EHS working experience within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry. o At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, demonstrating successful team leadership.
Skills &
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, chemical safety, and industrial hygiene. Proficient in accident investigation techniques, risk assessment tools, and permit-to-work systems.
Management Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, set strategic work plans, and manage performance effectively.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Language: Good command of written and spoken English.
Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
