Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who can

• Participate in the pricing and risk analysis of various portfolios. The analysis reports are basis for making trading or hedging decisions on the portfolio.
• Develop light spreadsheet tools to help traders analyze and monitor their trading exposures.
• Develop marking tools using market information using Python.
• Develop library for the bank pricing and booking systems.
• Develop, generate and validate regular analytic reports for the trading desks.
• Documentation of theory and implementation (Latex)
• Provide test and control framework for front to back operational testing / recoverability
• Participate in technology design discussions for scalability and performance
• Provide support/tools for explaining P&L, Risk and OTC products pricing.

The team The Shanghai Quantitative Analytics Group of UBS is an entrepreneurial, cross-asset team focusing on building the market-leading analytics across all asset classes and provides comprehensive quantitative analysis support to all business units throughout the Investment Bank in all regions. In collaboration with trading, the team also takes advantage of the fast growing FinTech trend. It was established in 2006 and located in Lu Jia Zui Financial Town of Shanghai Pudong.

It has a stable team of quantitative analysts and developers with a diverse academic background (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics and Financial Engineering).

Your Skills And Experience

• Graduate between Sep 2027 and Jul 2028. Minimum bachelor's degree from a top tier university, preferably in Science or Finance disciplines (e.g.

  Computer

  Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Economics or Financial Engineering).

• Strong analytical abilities and sound logic is required.
• Familiar with Python, or other object oriented computer languages: C , C#, Java. Proficiency in Excel VBA is a plus.
• Mastering a statistical program language such as R statistic package is a plus
• SQL databases, KDB and Linux is a plus
• Good sense with numbers, fast-learning and detail oriented.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English. Minimum CET 6 or equivalent.
• Good team spirits with excellent communication skills.
