Title : Fullstack Engineer (Middle) Department Overview The Global Ad Technology Department (GATD) manages the whole of the advertising systems that power Rakuten. We are a cross-functional and data-driven organization working together in a diverse team spread across four countries: Japan, Singapore, India and China.
Our vision is to empower our internal and external stakeholders by providing data driven marketing solutions by developing the Ad delivery, Tracking, Reporting and Data Sync Platforms. We are looking for a professional who can build and grow our Ad Platform and lead its business in rapidly changing environment by making full use of the Rakuten assets.

You Will Work As Development Engineer For This System, And We Will Expect You To Have a Key Role In The Design, Development, Delivery And Operation Based On Your Strong Development Experience And Technical Innovation.

Solving business pain point by providing quick technology or system delivery. Using modern technology to tackle ad business, issues, etc.
Work together with PDM to understand requirement and providing tech supporting for system design in project initialization phase. Be involved in whole process of web application development life cycle: architecture design, middleware selection, development, configuration setting, release and system operation. Response for the system security audit and performance issues confirmation and provide solutions.
In Case Of Trouble, Detect Root Cause And Recovery With Team Members Proactively With Ownership Of Service/system.

Bachelor Degree (BS) in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 5 years of experience developing consumer-facing web applications by using Java/Spring Boot related tech stack. 5 years’ software development experience (and consistent development experience in requirements definition, specification formulation, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance operation)
Experience In Database Design And Performance Tuning.
Experience Of Frontend Development With TypeScript, React And NextJS.
Linux Operation Experience Of Using Shell
Script. Team Player, Good Communication Skills, Willingness To Work In Oversea Environment.
Listening, Speaking, Reading And Writing.
Experience in operation for online advertising (Ad product).
Experience in scrum development.
Practical knowledge of system performance tuning including OS, middleware, JVM and application. Familiar with container deployment (Docker, K8S, Jenkins).
Experience of data processing with BigQuery, Kafka.
Experience of AI knowledge Languages: English (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
