Hardware Test Engineer(光学测试)

该职位来源于猎聘 Job Summary This position will play a key role in Coherent Optical line-card, Muxponder and Transponder product performance verification. The role will include working with design engineer for product bring up, develop and execute comprehensive test plan, complete design verification, hardware verification, and develop automation test program for product performance testing in Lab and production line.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Develop test plan and complete DVT for new products – 60% Create test plan and execute DVT & Hardware Integration for the new product to ensure product meet design specification and quality standard.

Work closely with design engineers to facilitate the initial bring-up of new products.

Establish test bench for new product design verification testing according to specified requirements and ensure accurate and effective testing.

Develop test program and test tool for the product automatic test to enhance efficiency and consistency in product testing.

Work with team to identify, troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs encountered during product testing, ensuring the reliability and functionality of the products.

Collect test data and complete test reports, providing insights and documentation to support product evaluations and improvements. Design and improve test system– 20%

Design and develop test platform (Hardware & Software) to enhance test capability and improve test efficiency.

Develop and refine the test system to enhance their robustness and reliability Manufacturing Test Support – 20% Design test solutions and define test plans for production testing, to ensure product performance and quality for delivery.

Transfer test program or guide NPI test team to develop test program for manufacturing test.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot and resolve any test issue in production process.

Continuously analyze and optimize test processes to improve test efficiency and reduce costs, implementing innovative test solutions for production line.

Education & Experience

Master or higher technical degree in Engineering or Science, preferably with optics or photonics specialty.

2+ years of experience in transport products verification and testing, such as ROADM, EDFA, Muxponder/Transponder.

Proven ability to develop software and hardware for automated test solutions of ultra-high speed fiber optics communication sub-modules (e.g. ROADM Optical line card)

Experience in C#, Python, SQL DB.

Experience with problem analysis and resolution.

Experience with networked PC based computer systems (Windows, Linux).

Skills & Other Requirements

Automation skills and familiarity with Visual Studio (C#), and Python

Be familiar with Oracle, SQL data client/Server architecture and SQL language.

Strong understanding of optical transport networks and related technologies. And can implement experiments and root cause analysis and strong analytical ability.

Proficient in using test equipment and tools, such as optical spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, optical network analyzers.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to handle multiple priorities and complex issues involving external and internal priorities

Experience with problem analysis and resolution at the strategic and functional levels

Good communication in both English and Mandarin
