• Project &
  • Automation (35%) o Participate in IT infrastructure projects, including planning, implementation, migration, and post-deployment support. o Lead or support server, storage, virtualization, and operating system upgrade projects. o Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to streamline system administration, deployment, monitoring, and routine maintenance tasks. o Standardize infrastructure configurations and operational procedures to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk. o Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies and infrastructure solutions to enhance system reliability, scalability, and security. o Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and disaster recovery documentation. o Collaborate with Global IT teams on infrastructure initiatives, technology rollouts, and continuous improvement programs. o Participate in change management activities and ensure all infrastructure changes follow Global IT governance and change control processes.

• System Management (30%) o Collaborate with Global IT teams and ensure compliance with Global IT standards, policies, and procedures. o Manage the daily operations of the data center to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of production systems. o Administer and maintain core infrastructure services, including:

Active Directory (AD)

DNS

DHCP

DFS

• SFTP o Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of Active Directory services. o Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the CommVault backup environment to ensure successful backup and recovery operations.
• System Security (10%) o Continuously analyze and optimize the IT infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency, stability, and system integrity. o Develop, implement, and maintain infrastructure operational standards and best practices. o Protect the computing and network environment through:

Backup and recovery strategies

Access control management

• Endpoint security and anti-malware protection
• Secure storage of critical business data o Maintain and periodically test Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures to ensure infrastructure recoverability. o Ensure compliance with Global IT security, compliance, and governance policies. o Participate in the planning, design, and continuous improvement of data center operations.
• Windows and Linux Server Administration (10%) o Install, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems. o Deploy and maintain server security updates, critical patches, and hotfixes. o Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure monitoring and management tools. o Perform routine server maintenance, health checks, and troubleshooting.
• Infrastructure Resource Management (5%) o Monitor and maintain the health of IT infrastructure hardware, including servers, storage systems, SAN switches, and related equipment. o Manage server capacity, performance, and resource utilization. o Manage storage capacity, performance, and optimization to meet business requirements.
• Help Desk &
  • Infrastructure Support (5%) o Manage shared folder creation and access permissions. o Administer IT-managed system permissions, including SFTP, SMTP, SVN, file services, and other infrastructure-related applications. o Provide second-level technical support for infrastructure-related issues when required.

• Special Assignments (5%) o Participate in infrastructure projects and other special assignments as required. o Prepare project status reports and provide technical recommendations to IT management. o Support infrastructure improvements, technology upgrades, and continuous service enhancement initiatives.

  Education &

  • Experience

• Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and Windows server administration.
• At least 5 years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments (Windows Server 2016/2019 or later).
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a global team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective technical solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Solid experience supporting enterprise networked computing environments, including servers, storage, and related infrastructure.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, virtualization platforms, backup solutions, and enterprise monitoring tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of IT service management (ITIL), information security best practices, and disaster recovery concepts are an advantage.

  • Other Requirements

• Good written English communication skills; spoken English proficiency is required for collaboration with Global IT teams.
• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Windows Server (2016/2019 or later), Active Directory, VMware ESXi 8.x, NetApp Storage (SAN/CIFS), and enterprise backup solutions.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, data communications, and experience administering Cisco network infrastructure.
• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Batch, or Python) is preferred.
• Knowledge of hardware communication, command-line administration, and system integration is an advantage.
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems, including Microsoft Windows Server and Linux.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, cross-cultural, and global team environment.
