Responsibilities: 1. Lead the design and development of high voltage connectors for various applications.

• Create detailed engineering specifications and design for connector components.
• Support simulations and analyses to evaluate performance and reliability.
• Technical communication to customers, confirm customer application and technical requirements.
• Translate customer’s requirements into engineering specification and provide new product design solution in time.
• Involve in the improved product design regarding the product DV and PV test methods, test fixture, and standards/specs.
• Tracking test progress, analysis the test result, responsible for resolving product design and test problems.
• Responsible for part list/BOM building, 3D models and 2D drawings, GD&T, product specifications, application specifications, DFMEA, DVPR, SC/CC list etc.
• Lead the design review for compliance with engineering principles, high voltage standards, customer contract requirements, verification, and related specifications.
• Lead design review with cross functional teams to confirm the manufacturing and quality control feasibility.
• Leads DV/PV test, responsible for resolving product design and test problems.
• Interacts with customers, vendors, marketing and sales, and other engineering areas during the pre-production stages of new products.
• Familiar with specification of high voltage like USCAR-2 / USCAR-37 / VW80332 (LV215).

Qualifications/Experience/Skills: 1. Bachelor level degree majored in Engineering, or above.

• More than 4 years mechanical design experience in Automotive industry. Independently new product development experience is plus.
• Knowledge of HV or LV connector fundamentals, capable of connector component design.
• Stay updated on industry trends, high voltage technologies, and competitors.
• Preferred that knowledge of EV high voltage system architecture and high voltage connector application and international standards and high voltage/current design for EV.
• Familiar with GD&T, mechanics of plastic/metal materials, and basic knowledge in injection molding, stamping.
• Familiar with automotive product development, automotive products development processes like APQP and PPAP.
• Skilled in at least one 3D Software: Creo or Pro/E. Mastery of office software.
• Proficient in writing and reading English.

Good Oral

English is a must.

• Good communication skills, High teamwork spirit and teamwork experience, ability to work with multicultural engineering teams and cross functional environments.
• Effective problem-solving skills, to be innovative, willingness/ability to deal with multiple products and assigned tasks.
