Position Overview The Lead Production wil play a critical role in building up the production operations of the newchinese subsidiary, This position inyolves setting up the production infrastructure, establishingmanufacturing processes, recruiting and developing the production team, and ensuring alignmentwith the quality and efficiency standards of the German headquarters. The ideal candidate is a hands-on and experienced production leader who can combine technicalexpertise, organizational skills, and intercultural communication to create a high-performingproductionenvironment.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Setup &Industrialization Lead the setup of the production facility, including layout planning, equipment selection andinstallation,and process commissioning. Coordinate with the German engineering and production teams to transfer product andprocess know-how. Develop and document manufacturing processes, assembly instructions, and standardoperating procedures(SOPs). Ensure readiness for serial production in accordance with group standards for safety, quality,and efficiency.
• Team Building & LeadershipRecruit,train, and manage the local production team. Establish a positive, performance-oriented, and safe working culture. Define production roles, KPls, and shift structures as the organization grows Provide hands-on leadership and daily guidance on the shop floor.
• Production Operations Plan and oversee production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and optimal utilization ofresources. Monitor and improve production efficiency, yield, and cost performance. Coordinate closely with procurement, logistics, and quality departments to ensure smoothend-to-end operations. Ensure preventive maintenance and equipment reliability
• Quality & Compliance Implement and maintain production processes in line with the company's qualitymanagement system (ls0 9001 or equivalent). Drive continuous improvement initiatives lLean, 5S, Kaizen) to enhance product quality andprocess stability. Cooperate with the Quality department to ensure inspection standards, traceability, anddocumentation are consistently met.
• Communication & coordination Act as the main interface between the China subsidiary and the German headquarters for allproduction-related topics. Provide regular reports and updates in English or German on production performance,challenges,and improvement measures. Participate in group-wide meetings and training related to process optimization, producttransfers,and new product introductions.

  Qualifications &

  Requirements Education &

  Experience Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering. Manufacturing, or related fields. Minimum 7-10 years of production management experience, preferably in precisioninstruments, laboratory equipment, medical devices, or similar sectors.

  Proven track record in setting up or scaling up production operations, ideally in aninternational company environment. Technical & Leadership skills Strong understanding of assembly processes, production planning, and Lean Manufacturingprinciples.

  Experience with quality systems (ls0 9001,ls0 13485 preferred). Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; hands-on approach.

  Language Skills

  Proficiency in English is essential, German language skills are a strong advantage (orwillingness to learn). Ability to communicate effectively with both local teams and international colleaguesPersonal Attributes Entrepreneurial mindset with a structured, reliable, and pragmatic working style. High sense of responsibility, quality awareness, and attention to detail.

  Culturally sensitive and capable of bridging Chinese and German working cultures. Willingness to travel to Germany for training or coordination when needed.
