Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project/program management for optical equipment projects, from concept, design, prototyping, validation, production ramp-up, to deployment and post-sales service.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, and milestone tracking reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, System Architecture, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and sales/CSR, etc.
• To support KAM as the communication interface between customers, internal teams, suppliers, and management.
• Track project progress and ensure timely resolution of technical, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain issues.
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and change control processes.
• Organize regular project meetings, prepare project reports, and escalate key risks or issues to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company processes, quality systems, and customer specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution, delivery efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, action item lists, risk logs, and status reports.

  Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Optical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project/program management experience, preferably in optical equipment, optoelectronics, or high-tech manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of product development processes, NPI, engineering validation, manufacturing ramp-up, and quality control.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and customer-facing projects.
• Familiarity with optical systems and optical components are preferred.
• Good knowledge of project management tools and methods, such as MS Project, xls., Smartsheet, or similar tools.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken; Mandarin or other languages are a plus depending on business needs.
