Purchasing Engineer采购工程师

该职位来源于猎聘 Mission The Purchasing Engineer is responsible for the tactical-operational buying process of Casappa Hydraulics Shanghai. His/her buying package mainly consists of production related to direct materials of gear and piston pump.

Responsibilities and Activities

• Assigned Supplier’s Portfolio Analysis and Management, working in accordance to Casappa Procedure;
• Actively searches for new suppliers & new opportunities to reduce cost and risk, improve quality and service through Sourcing, Negotiation etc.
• Actively lead the purchasing projects/results and periodically reports those to manager
• Support Procurement Staff to follow up Supplier on Time Delivery performance and Regular Capacity Assessment;
• Measures and support leader in improving the performance of the supplier base: Quality, Delivery, Supplier Development and Total Cost;
• Keeps track on signing and management of purchasing agreement and contract with suppliers
• Assures an optimized management of the ERP parameters;
• Support his/her Leader in spreading Lean Supply Chain concepts towards suppliers;
• Support global purchasing team in purchasing activities of Chinese suppliers on delivery, quality and capacity.
• Support Supplier Quality Engineers in following up PPAP for new product introduction;
• Support Supplier Quality Engineers to handle quality issue at the Supplier side;
• Negotiation with Supplier about price, lead time, good quality and service;
• Supply Chain Department internal assistance.
• Other duties assigned by manager

Requirement

• Bachelor degree, major in Mechanical or Engineering
• At least 3-5 years working experience in purchasing management in mechanical manufacturing
• Skill in new supplier sourcing & development (Prefer experience with Casting， Machining, or Gear ).
• Skill in purchasing, negotiation, international trade
• Microsoft Office knowledge, ERP experience

Project Management Skills

• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Has driving license is preferred
• Team working attitude Professional skills and abilities
• Flexible and Self motivated person able to working under stress condition
• Interactive communication skill with external suppliers and internal peers
• Have knowledge or experience of fluid power, hydraulic system is preferred, and the application thereof;
• Be familiar with APQP, PPAP, FMEA.
• Knows problem-solving methods.
