Quality Engineer

Work with P&L leaders to implement quality governance models at shop floor, including quality assessments, root cause analysis teams and Parts Quality Management Structure.

Stablish Parts Quality

Control, creating a flow to prevent parts deviation in production. Represent quality in cross functional forums with areas such as process engineering, R&D and logistics Training team members and operators with Quality Methods Provide documentation connected to deviation and execute supplier follow up on corrective actions. Prepare documentation for rejected parts, updating the system and follow up on parts reimbursement process.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: Follow Scania Quality Methods/Process to prevent and solve quality issues, such as Risk Reduction, Deviation Handling and Problem Solving Represent quality in cross functional forums with areas such as process engineering, production and logistics

Work with P&L leader to identify supplier quality deviation detected both in production line and logistic process Coordinate parts sorting to support production running Skilled at using measuring tools like caliper /micrometer/ thickness gauge Basic manufacturing knowledge of wire harness, pipes, plastics, electronic components etc Materials handling process in system as parts return/scrap, inspection request, material request Coordinate supplier to provide deviation information and follow up supplier corrective actions Perform other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience

Bachelor degree or above, degree in computer science or similar.

Experience working with and within heterogeneous teams and specifically global projects

Experienced in multi-channel transformation projects and change management advantage

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Familiar with vehicle production & process, knowing of basic quality management process High sense of Quality and zero deviation mindset; Technical drawing analysis and interpretation

Familiar with standardized tools and methods Supply chain basics knowledge Experience and/or training in use of computer data input technology Self-disciplined, honest & a can-do attitude.

Experience and/or training in quality assurance is preferred
