Job Responsibility: Laser Processing Equipment Development ●Design, assemble, and commission high-precision laser machining platforms with sub-micron stability. ●Lead mechanical design, system integration, and motion control programming for automation. ●Troubleshoot and optimize equipment performance, ensuring reliability and precision.
Glass
Laser-Induced Wet Etching Process Development ●Develop and optimize glass microfabrication processes focusing on laser writing, wet etching, and cleaning workflows. ●Design and fabricate tooling, fixtures, and jigs to support precise laser processing. ●Optimize process parameters to improve efficiency, reproducibility, and quality. Cross-Functional Collaboration for Batch Production ●Work closely with optics and downstream processing teams to implement scalable and repeatable production workflows. ●Support the transition of R&D processes into stable batch manufacturing for micro-nano glass products.
Mechanical
Design and Thermal–Mechanical Simulation ●Perform mechanical design beyond laser platforms, including fixtures, stages, and supporting structures. ●Conduct thermal–mechanical coupled simulations to validate designs and ensure long-term stability. ●Use FEA and other modeling tools to support mechanical optimization.
Job Requirements: ●Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Optical Engineering, or related field. ●2 years in high-precision equipment development or laser microfabrication system integration. ●Strong programming skills in Python, C/C , LabVIEW, Matlab, or similar for motion control, automation, and data analysis. ●Hands-on experience with mechanical design, assembly, and alignment of precision systems. ●Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, etc.) and simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL). ●Experience with motion control systems, stages, and automation platforms. ●Strong problem-solving, independent working, and teamwork abilities. ●Excellent documentation, communication, and project management skills. ●Experience with high-stability stages and vibration-isolated platforms. ●Familiarity with laser system integration (femtosecond, picosecond, or nanosecond lasers) is a plus. ●Background in surface metrology, precision measurement, or microfabrication validation.
