R&D Software Engineer

该职位来源于猎聘 We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop a residential heat pump system controller. The controller is based on Linux and is responsible for connectivity, system device control, status display, human-machine interaction, and IoT cloud integration. The technical stack includes Linux, MATLAB/Simulink, C , Qt, and IoT communication technologies.

You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, including system control function modeling, Linux application development, HMI implementation, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity, cloud interaction, CI/CD engineering, and cross-site collaboration with teams in Germany to deliver product features and quality improvements.

Job Descriptions:  Develop, simulate, and validate SCF (System Control Function) models using MATLAB/Simulink.  Develop Linux application-layer software in C , including system control, communication, data processing, and related business logic.  Develop HMI applications using Qt, including device status display, parameter configuration, alarm notification, and user interaction workflows.  Develop IoT connectivity features for the controller, including Wi-Fi provisioning, Bluetooth connection, device binding, network status management, and fault recovery.  Develop data interaction between the controller and cloud platform, including device status reporting, remote control, parameter synchronization, alarm notification, and OTA update support.  Participate in the design, development, integration testing, and troubleshooting of IoT communication protocols, cloud APIs, and device onboarding workflows.  Collaborate with R&D teams in Germany on requirement clarification, technical solution discussion, interface definition, code review, issue analysis, and cross-team delivery.  Participate in interface design, integration testing, troubleshooting, and issue analysis between the controller and heat pump system devices.  Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve software build, testing, release, and quality-check efficiency.  Participate in iteration planning, task breakdown, risk alignment, and continuous improvement in an agile development process.  Prepare and maintain software design documents, interface specifications, test descriptions, IoT integration documents, and other technical documentation.  Collaborate with system, hardware, test, product, cloud, and Germany-based teams to drive the integration and delivery of controller features, connectivity features, and cloud services.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree or above in Automation, Control Engineering, Electronic Information, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Communication Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.  Familiar with MATLAB/Simulink, with experience in control algorithms, system control logic, or model-based development.  Familiar with Linux application development and C programming, with understanding of multithreading, inter-process communication, and network communication.  Experience with Qt/QML or Qt Widgets, capable of independently developing HMI features.  Familiar with IoT device connectivity development, with understanding of device provisioning, device binding, status synchronization, remote control, and cloud message interaction.  Familiar with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth development, with knowledge of Wi-Fi management, Bluetooth communication, network status monitoring, and connection fault handling on Linux platforms.  Familiar with common IoT communication protocols or cloud interaction methods, such as MQTT, HTTPS/REST APIs, WebSocket, and TLS.  Basic understanding of OTA updates, device certificates, authentication, data encryption, and IoT security.  Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, with the ability to communicate with Germany-based teams in technical discussions, meetings, and document collaboration.  Familiar with CI/CD toolchains such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.  Good software engineering practices, with familiarity in Git, code review, unit testing, static analysis, or automated testing processes.  Basic understanding of Cyber Security (CS), such as security requirements, authentication, communication encryption, secure updates, vulnerability management, or security testing.  Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
