SLE Engineer/供应商质量管理工程师

Job Responsibility: ●Align with the SLE Supply Chain Quality strategy and governance to build and maintain collaborative, professional relationships between Coherent and its suppliers, ensuring consistent and stable raw material quality. ●Partner with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team to integrate and optimize supplier resources, driving cost efficiency and streamlining end-to-end supply chain management. ●Collaborate with R&D, NPI, Engineering, and Quality teams to conduct qualifications of new suppliers and new components for new product introduction projects. ●Implement supplier performance grading and material category management, establishing systematic and effective supplier governance frameworks. ●Execute annual supplier audit programs, including QSA, QPA, social compliance, and environmental compliance audits; provide actionable recommendations to enhance overall supplier quality capabilities. ●Conduct regular supplier performance reviews, identify improvement opportunities, and lead corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous quality improvement. ●Ensure compliance with supplier PCN policies and procedures; coach and train suppliers on PCN requirements; review and manage material PCNs in accordance with established processes to mitigate risks associated with material changes. ●Develop and implement incoming material quality control (IQC) processes, define inspection standards and criteria, and provide training to IQC technicians and inspectors. ●Resolve incoming inspection non-conformances, material-related complaints from production, IPQC, FQC, and customers, and hold suppliers accountable for root-cause correction and quality improvement.

Job Requirements: ●Minimum two years of professional experience in high precision mechanical design/assembly, opto mechanical design/assembly, precision testing instruments, optics, or optical communication. ●Hands on experience in mechanical or opto mechanical system integration, assembly, and testing. ●Proficiency in engineering design tools including SolidWorks and CAD. ●Ability to perform mechanical and thermal simulation and analysis using commercial software or numerical calculation methods. ●Strong problem solving skills with the ability to develop targeted, feasible solutions and improvement plans for complex engineering issues. ●Proactive learning mindset with openness to new technologies, knowledge, and innovative ideas. ●Excellent professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
