Mandatory Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Minimum 3 years embedded software development experience in construction machinery, mining equipment or commercial vehicle industry. Proficient in IEC-61131 PLC programming, C &
Expertise in CAN-Open, J1939, Ethernet, Profibus and other on-board communication buses. Understanding of real-time embedded OS, task scheduling and fail-safe mechanism design. Solid electrical engineering knowledge; hydraulic control logic knowledge is required.
Hands-on experience in on-board remote communication, data acquisition and edge computing architecture. Prior telematics, remote diagnosis and OTA upgrade development experience is a must-have plus. Excellent written and spoken English for cross-regional global team communication and independent technical document delivery.
Strong cross-functional collaboration capability. Willing to travel to remote mining sites with harsh working conditions; accept international business trips.
Preferred Experience &
Software development experience for surface / underground mining drill rigs, exploration drill rigs, or haulage equipment;
Development experience of battery management system (BMS), electric drive and energy control algorithms for battery-electric mining machines;
Practical project experience in autonomous drilling, unmanned fleet control and multi-sensor fusion algorithms;
Experience in embedded Linux/QNX real-time OS and edge AI algorithm deployment;
Participation in unified vehicle control OS and modular software platform architecture design;
Understanding of mining aftermarket business including predictive maintenance and digital software subscription services.
