Software Engineering & Development, Off

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer at Assistant Vice President (AVP) level to design, develop, and support enterprise applications in the financial services domain. The role requires strong hands-on engineering capability, solid understanding of backend systems, and effective collaboration within a global team.

Required Qualifications

• 5–15 years of professional experience in software development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical IT experience
• Experience in the financial services industry, or strong understanding of financial systems and workflows
• Solid hands-on experience with C# and .NET Framework 4.0
• Strong experience with SQL and/or Oracle databases, including performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with global stakeholders
• Fast learner, self‑driven, and able to work under pressure in a production-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications
• Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and other engineers to deliver business solutions
• Participate in code reviews, problem analysis, and production issue resolution
• Ensure code quality, stability, and maintainability through good engineering practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and development processes

Preferred / Plus Skills

• Experience with Java and/or Python
• Exposure to AI-related technologies, including Copilot or AI-assisted development tools
• Front-end experience with React or modern web frameworks

• Ability to balance delivery velocity with quality and risk control
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment
