Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Android System Software Product Owner for our Mobile product development. This role needs to ensure our Mobile products meet high standards for performance, security, and user experience. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills to oversee the entire product lifecycle from conception to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision, aligning it with business goals and user needs. Develop a comprehensive product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on market feedback and technical feasibility.
• Teamwork: Working with a cross-functional team of Android Team Leader, Android developers, hardware engineers, testers, marketing manager and program manager to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
• Technical Oversight: Oversee the architecture design and implementation of Android applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Identify and mitigate technical risks, such as system instability or security vulnerabilities, through proactive monitoring and optimization.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain rigorous testing protocols to ensure software reliability and stability. Coordinate with QA teams to identify and resolve defects, ensuring products meet acceptance criteria before release.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders and end-users, to gather requirements and feedback. Translate technical details into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Primary language is Mandarin, fluent in English.
• Minimum of 3 years of Android System/Application development experience, Minimum of 3 years of Android system product management experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Android or embedded Linux systems, with a certain understanding of Android SDK, framework, kernel and system architecture.
• Leadership and Communication: Excellent team management abilities, with a history of motivating developers and resolving conflicts. Clear and effective communication skills for articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Problem-Solving: A clear logical thinking ability, a proactive approach to risk management and solution design.
• Project management: Experience in software project management, with strong skills in document organization and editing, with strong skills in defect management. Familiar with the overall process of embedded development projects and agile development processes.
