Test Engineer, Engineering/工程部测试工程师

工作职责 Test Related Cost Reduction – 25% ●Expand test bench compatibility to optimize test capacity across products. ●Propose, test and implement new test solutions to reduce equipment CapEx. ●Collaborate with design/product engineers to optimize test parameters/steps and shorten test time. ●Support production and PEs in developing intelligent tools (e.g., e-kanban) for cost reduction. ●Assist mechanical/automation engineers in developing AI/ML-based automated test/inspection equipment.

Mass Production Test Program

Development & Optimization – 25% ●Participate in manufacturing test flow definition and assess production line test capability gaps. ●Follow up R&D/NPI tests to verify test platform updates and monitor effectiveness (capability, efficiency, throughput). ●Develop analysis tools/GUI to resolve test abnormalities promptly. ●Develop/optimize test programs with R&D support.

Test Bench

Setup, Verification & Robustness Maintenance – 20% ●Verify in-house/commercial test equipment (hardware/software) and release qualified test benches to production timely. ●Manage the lifecycle of test interface boards, fixtures and auxiliaries. ●Create/update test instructions and train technicians/operators.

Product Test Exception

Handling & Root Cause Analysis – 20% ●Debug recipes/codes and conduct RCA (via DoE, Fish Bone, 5Whys, 6-Sigma) to implement corrective/preventive actions. ●Collaborate with PEs to troubleshoot test-related product failures.

New Products

Support – 10% ●Collaborate with R&D/NPI teams to develop low-cost automated test systems. ●Support NPI test bench setup, verification and release. ●Conduct pre-PCP test process audits and review new product lessons learned. ●Provide TE support to R&D/NPI for efficient mass production transfer. 任职资格 ●Bachelor’s degree or higher in Optics, Telecommunication, Physics, Electronics, Photonics, Mechanics, Automation or related technical disciplines; master’s preferred. ●3+ years of working experience in optical communications/electronics manufacturing or related industries. ●Proven experience in developing automated test programs for fiber communication sub-modules and linecards. ●Proficient in C#, Python, SQL DB, and networked PC systems (Windows, Linux). ●Experience in EDFA, ILS (system products), test yield improvement and cost reduction. ●Ability to lead root cause analysis for complex product test failures. ●Project management skills: track progress and address gating items proactively. ●Good English communication skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing); fluent spoken English preferred. ●Strong optical test theory, able to infer hypotheses based on experimental phenomena and data. ●Proficient in quality analysis tools (e.g., Minitab) for DoE, Pareto yield analysis and SPC monitoring.
