POSITION OVERVIEW: The Validation and Testing Engineer is focused around leading the development of engineering test and validation solutions that improve success for the business. The role will define and develop electrical characterization methods, characterize discrete semiconductor devices, develop and maintain lab equipment/tools. and responsible for the test and datasheet related activities required to introduce new products to market.

Ii. Key Responsibilities

• Work with whole team supporting research & development of discrete devices
• Characterize discrete semiconductor devices acc. internal & external standards
• Define and develop electrical characterization methods for discrete diodes and transistor products based on market requirements
• Owner of all measurement equipment/tools (e.g. driving calibration, maintenance, spare parts, investments)
• Execute Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and define related requirements for electrical characterization setups
• Lead and support small optimization projects.
• Develop and maintain lab automatization tools
• Provide and summary characterize report
• Investigate competitor products and technologies
• Support customer design-in / de-bugging/complaint characterization requests

Skills /Competencies

Hard Skills:

• Hands-on experience in measurement technique for electronic circuitry and setups
• Required advanced knowledge in MS Windows
• Basic knowledge in MS Windows network principles and user management
• Basic knowledge in analogue circuit technology

Preferably Signal Integrity knowledge

• Preferably experience in LabVIEW and Python

Preferably PCB design knowledge

Preferably applications experience

• Familiar with the test and verification solutions of diode and transistor device.
