该职位来源于猎聘 Position Summary Responsible for driving China-based new product development for VCS hardware solutions by integrating hardware product management, OEM/ODM-enabled development coordination, end-to-end project management, and system-level technical coordination. This role identifies China and global market needs, translates customer, clinical, regulatory, quality, service, manufacturing, and business inputs into product concepts, product requirements, development plans, verification and validation expectations, and launch readiness deliverables. The role leverages Chinese manufacturing and technology partners and coordinates internal and external resources to deliver innovative, reliable, manufacturable, serviceable, compliant, and lifecycle-ready hardware products for China and global markets.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify China and global optometry device market needs, collect voice-of-customer insights, and translate them into hardware product concepts, product requirements, and project inputs.
• Develop the China-for-China and China-for-Global hardware product roadmap, portfolio planning, and development path based on market trends, user needs, product pipeline strategy, and business priorities.
• Drive China-based new product development by leveraging OEM, ODM, and strategic partnership models, focusing on product definition, partner selection, development coordination, system-level requirement alignment, verification and validation planning, launch readiness, and lifecycle considerations.
• Identify and assess Chinese hardware manufacturers, technology providers, and supply partners; build cooperation networks and select suitable partners to support innovation and product delivery.
• Coordinate technical discussions with internal R&D, OEM/ODM partners, quality, regulatory, supply chain, manufacturing, service, marketing, and sales teams to ensure hardware solutions meet customer workflow, regulatory, quality, risk management, manufacturability, serviceability, cost, and business requirements.
• Manage new product development and launch projects end-to-end, covering demand collection, project initiation, requirement translation, development coordination, testing, verification and validation readiness, registration support, production introduction, GTM preparation, commercialization, and post-launch lifecycle feedback.
• Organize project teams, drive regular project meetings and gate reviews according to PSGP/IPD or relevant processes, and ensure key deliverables, design-control documents, verification evidence, timelines, risks, issues, and decisions are properly managed and traceable.
• Partner with quality and regulatory teams to support medical-device compliance, risk management, design-control expectations, registration readiness, and issue resolution throughout product development and lifecycle execution.
• Support lifecycle management for released or launched products by collecting service, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and customer feedback, coordinating issue investigation, and driving product improvement opportunities with internal and external partners.
• Maintain close communication with global VCS colleagues and headquarters teams, ensuring transparent information flow, timely escalation, and effective cross-cultural collaboration for China-developed products.
• Support Marketing and Sales Strategy teams in developing go-to-market strategies, launch plans, training inputs, and product promotion materials to ensure successful product introduction in target markets.
• Complete other tasks assigned by superiors. Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above. Medical device, optometry, optics, electronics, mechanical, automation, biomedical engineering, or related majors are preferred; MBA is a plus.
• Experience: More than 5 years of experience in product management, new product development, or project management in medical devices, optical/optometry devices, or hardware products.

  Experience in OEM/ODM collaboration, supplier-enabled product development, or China-based new product development is preferred.

• Skills:  Strong capability in market insight, product definition, requirement translation, and hardware product roadmap planning.  Good understanding of hardware development processes and technical communication; able to work effectively with engineering teams and OEM/ODM partners without being positioned as a dedicated hardware engineer.  Solid end-to-end project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects across requirements definition, development coordination, verification and validation readiness, launch preparation, commercialization, and lifecycle follow-up.  Familiarity with PSGP, IPD, APQP, medical device quality systems, design-control principles, verification and validation, risk management, standards compliance, registration support, and post-market quality feedback processes is preferred.  Strong partner management and supplier collaboration skills, with ability to assess Chinese technology providers, OEM/ODM partners, and manufacturing resources.  Excellent communication, coordination, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills; able to influence cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.  Strong logical thinking, learning agility, innovation mindset, risk identification, and problem-solving capability.  Ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, and deliver results in multitasking and complex project environments.  Strong sense of responsibility, positive work attitude, honesty, integrity, confidence, and optimism.  Good English communication skills, with the ability to use English as a working language.
