I currently live and work in Nantong, Jiangsu province, China; where I have 20+ years of working experience in education, education management, and product and production site sourcing.
During my time in China I have taught myself to speak Chinese (quite competently) and have also developed an in-depth understanding of Chinese Social Psychology, governance, Chinese traditions, customs, motivations, logic, morals and norms. During this time, I have also had extensive experience of dealing with Chinese parents, schools, colleges, universities, businesses, local government, educational regulatory bodies, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM), the Beijing People's Police College, the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau (BJPSB), local education departments, local inward investment departments, local and national TV, radio, and newspapers.
I am skilled in the following areas: ESL/TESOL/TEFL Teacher, Teacher-Trainer, Senior Private Mentor, Advanced Course Consultant, Course And Curriculum Designer, Education Management, Interpreter, HR, Liaison, Translator, Pattern And Trend Identification Skills, Problem Detection And Resolution Skills, Product Sourcing, Production Site Sourcing, Public Speaking, Team Management, Chinese Social Psychology And Politics.
My language skills are: English (native), German (Advanced), Mandarin (Advanced), a smattering of phrases from several other languages (Arabic, Urdu, and Russian), with a rough and minimal aural comprehension of Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish, as derived from a combination of my German language skills and my home English dialect.
I have written one book on the reading rules of English, and which incorporates concatenation as a means of increasing oral fluency, whilst concomitantly naturally increasing aural acuity (Unpublished: Currently Used For My Personal Students; To Be Published At A later Date).
Additionally, I have written one book on the essential English grammar required to influence potential fluency, and the required oral drills to attain those goals (Unpublished: Currently Used For My Personal Students; To Be Published At A later Date).
Moreover, I have completed Book 1 of my proposed 10 volume oral English course, which aims to take students to an IELTS 8.5 grade, and which utilises the direct method, in tandem with concatenated speech and language pattern identification and replication skills (To Be Published Upon Completion).
Finally, I have recently completed Book 1 of my proposed 12 volume oral Chinese course, which aims to take students to and HSK 6 grade, and which utilises the direct method and language pattern identification and replication skills (To Be Published Upon Completion).
