Ubair Nisar

Ubair Nisar is an accomplished individual with vast expertise in marine economy, aquaculture industry development, and artificial intelligence (AI) in agricultural systems. He recently finished his Ph.D. in Fisheries Economics and Management from Ocean University of China, where he received the Best International Student Award for publishing the most articles in the doctoral category in 2022-2023. His research interests are focused on international economics and trade, marketing, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), production economics, and agricultural supply chain management.

Ubair's mastery of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and his familiarity with various econometric tools and software like SPSS, R Programming, MS- Spreadsheet, SAS, and Python, make him a valuable asset to any organization. He is confident that his background and training in agricultural production economics, benefit-cost analysis, international trade & marketing, and export analytics, coupled with his experience in enhancing the quality and efficiency of marine economy and aquaculture industry, can significantly contribute to the success of any organization.

Moreover, Ubair has been teaching undergraduate and master's students for two years now, focusing on courses such as international trade, microeconomics, macroeconomics, marine and freshwater aquaculture economics, marketing, and environmental economics. With more than 22 publications in high-impact journals, particularly in production economics, international economics, and marketing analytics, he is well-equipped to support the research goals of any institute.
