LIVHOUG: Modern Streetwear Brand Los Angeles, CA Founder and CEO Dec 2022 – Present
Launched modern streetwear brand with a focus on bottom-wear featuring ease of movement for the dance community
Formed a partnership with The Evens Group (TEG) company, a clothing developer who previous partnered with companies such as Vogue, WWD, and the San Francisco Chronicle, to create industry-standard design specification sheets
Created viral TikTok marketing videos which amassed over 40,000 views in order to build a strong following for launch
Partnered with Carr Textiles to source overseas fabrics in order to create samples of the clothing line
PLOTS: Events Ticketing Hub App Los Angeles, CA Sales and Marketing Intern Jan 2023 – Present
Manage email and social media outreach to ~20 vendors/hosts per week, with an above average 25% success rate, increasing active hosts from 30 to 50, active users from 20,000 to 25,000, and ticket sales by 10%
Organize Plots’ professional profile through LinkedIn postings, hiring designers to create software and graphic designs (UI/UX)
Record weekly video interviews and viral TikToks around campus capturing market interest for various niche events
Bruintank: Sharktank-inspired campus-wide event where LA startups can pitch business ideas Los Angeles, CA Applicant Review and Processing Committee Member Nov 2022 – Present
Brought in venture capital firms including BoostVC, POPL, and IF Ventures to judge Bruintank events, as well as sponsorship from DayDream; the VCs praised my management of the competition and indicated their enthusiasm to return for future events.
Screened 50 applications and prepared for investor review, with four $1000 prizes going to ideas from AI startups to children’s novelty items; received personal mentorship from VC investors
Lead creation and execution of accelerator and mentorship programs designed to allow four other entrepreneurs to share their own stories, dispense knowledge, and provide lessons learned through presentations and discussions to Bruintank attendees
Unconsulting x Boston Consulting Group (BCG): Case Competition Los Angeles, CA Semi-Finalist Feb 2023 – Mar 2023
Led a 5-member team to the semi-finals, working with BCG to research and analyze the video gaming sector for an in-depth presentation to industry leader Activision Blizzard
Assessed Activision Blizzard’s potential for market entry into the game streaming industry in partnership with streaming leaders such as YouTube and HBO Max; proposed story-line companion films with Blizzard’s intellectual property and characters
