Cloud & Data Platform Engineer

Currently, we're hiring for a technology company with over 10 years in the market, specializing in B2B SaaS solutions where infrastructure reliability is critical.

• *About the Role**

We are looking for a senior Cloud & Data Engineer with over 6 years of experience designing scalable architectures on AWS that support data-intensive workflows. Your main mission will be to lead infrastructure automation using Terraform and collaborate closely with the Backend team (Python/Django) to ensure the integrity, security, and normalization of data coming from multiple third-party APIs.

• *What You'll Be Doing
• Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for a multi-tenant SaaS platform
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems
• Build and maintain integrations with external services
• Work with authentication flows (SSO, OAuth, SAML) and session management
• Develop data pipelines connecting multiple API sources
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through automation and best practices
• *Required Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud operations or infrastructure automation with a focus on managing high-volume data environments and cloud operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive AWS experience (ECS, S3, ECR) including performance tuning for RDS/Aurora and Data Lakes.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Experience with site reliability engineering practices and observability tools
• Solid understanding of authentication protocols (SSO, OAuth, SAML)
• Strong experience with API integrations and data pipeline development
• Experience with Kafka, Spark, or ETL tools and NoSQL databases.
• English proficiency: C1 level preferred, B2 level considered (required for daily collaboration with US-based clients)
• Must be based in Latin America
• *Preferred Qualifications**

The following skills are valued but not required for consideration:

• Backend development experience with Python/Django or similar frameworks
• Experience with ETL tools (Airbyte or similar) and AI/ML infrastructure (Amazon Bedrock)
• Background in field service or B2B SaaS platforms
• Knowledge of multi-tenancy architecture and security patterns

• Monthly compensation: $5,000 USD
• Contract type: Independent Contractor
• Work model: 100% Remote
• Availability: 40 hours per week
