About the Role

We are looking for 5–7 Mid to Senior Java/Python Developers based in Latin America to join a growing engineering team supporting a US-based BPO. This initiative is part of a strategic transition to improve code quality, increase collaboration with US stakeholders, and ensure strong time zone alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and/or Python
• Collaborate closely with US-based teams with significant time zone overlap
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems
• Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or Python
• Experience working with scalable systems and backend architectures
• Familiarity with modern frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Django, Flask)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience working in distributed or remote teams
• Ability to work aligned with US time zones (partial overlap required)
• Strong English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in BPO or high-volume operational environments
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience improving or refactoring legacy systems

Compensation

$3,200 - $4,000 USD per month (depending on experience)
