Description

We are looking for a self-motivated Collaboration Engineer to join our growing Productivity and Collaboration Technology team.

In this role you will help to evaluate, rationalize (optimize for cost and efficiency), and maintain our internal SaaS offerings to meet the demand of our workforce. You will focus on all aspects of our productivity and collaboration technology offerings, regularly meeting with vendors and internal stakeholders to maximize the value of the platforms and tools we choose to invest in.

What You’ll Do 

● Act as a middle level collaboration engineer for productivity and collaboration technology by keeping current with industry trends, vendor roadmaps, and platform features

● Collect internal requirements from various teams and work to find the best solutions to meet those requirements

● Work with the team to evaluate, rationalize, design, configure, implement, and maintain our SaaS based productivity and collaboration technology

● Assist with defining and implementing best practices for efficient app license management and support

● Establish and socialize appropriate use cases for when and how to best use our apps

● Create and curate documentation to help with user support and internal IT cross-training

● Collaborate with our internal security team to ensure a security focused approach to administration, configuration, and deployment

● Work to migrate off declining tools and platforms by helping manage communication and the process for migration

● Help establish best practices for tracking and managing API permissions and integrations

● Assist in the administration of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, including email management, as needed.

What You’ll Need 

Basic Qualifications 

● 3+ years of experience as an admin of at least two of the following collaboration tools:

Google Workspace, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom and Proofpoint

● Experience contributing to architecture standards during SaaS application integration and migration.

● Experience deploying, administering, supporting, and migrating between SaaS platforms in an enterprise environment.

● Experience working with users across teams and functions

● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

● Influential, action-oriented attitude; able and willing to own issues and drive resolution.

● Experience with one of the common programming/scripting languages, such as

PowerShell or Python.

Preferred Qualifications

● Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent education and experience

● Experience or good understanding of OKTA

● Experience with Microsoft Active Directory

● Experience with Zoom and Slack

● Familiarity with AWS and Azure

● Creativity and ability to work independently with limited guidance

● Familiarity with DNS

● Familiarity with GAM

● Google Workspace Administration experience.
