Principal Python Engineer at BairesDev In this role, you'll design the APIs and services that power the web and mobile experiences of a product used by millions of collectors. This is a hands-on position where your full ownership, from design through deployment, directly shapes how customers interact with the platform. This is your opportunity to build consumer-facing systems at scale alongside a product and design team invested in getting the details right.

What You'll Do

• Design and build backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Own complete features end to end, from design through deployment.
• Design APIs consumed by web and mobile applications.
• Build infrastructure as code to support consistent, repeatable deployments.
• Design microservices and event-driven systems that scale with demand.
• Design data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.

What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Experience with batch processing pipelines.
