Sr React Developer at Rootstrap

We’re looking for a Senior React.js Developer to join our remote multicultural team and be part of the full development cycle of web and mobile apps: from understanding business needs and designing solutions to developing the product. The ideal candidate works independently with minimal support, producing high‑quality, well‑tested software that aligns with client needs and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop well‑designed, high‑quality code with automated tests.
• Participate in overall project management (planning and review calls, board and story‑map maintenance, etc).
• Ensure high‑quality code across the company.
• Write meaningful code reviews.
• Collaborate with internal initiatives.
• Encourage project and company technical improvement.
• Assist team members and generate constructive discussions during disagreements.
• Execute appropriate documentation for the project.

Skills and Experience

• +4 years of experience in the IT field.
• Experience in Typescript is appreciated.
• At least 2 years of experience developing web applications (React is preferred but other frameworks are welcome).
• At least 2 years of experience working with HTML and CSS.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of data and state management libraries (React Query, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or others).
• Experience with frontend testing libraries (Testing Library, Cypress, Jest, etc).
• Experience with Server Side Rendering is appreciated.
• Experience working with agile methodologies in an agile environment.
• Advanced English skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery).
• Experience with bundlers and compilers (e.g., Vite, Webpack, Babel, Parcel, Gulp, Grunt, etc).
• Software experience from degree studies.
• Experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
